How does installation work?

You have several options for installation.

  1. Use our deliverables to get bids from multiple installers. You will get apples to apples estimates so you can easily compare and decide. And, you can often recoup the design fee within the savings when you compete between installers.

  2. Utilize one of our recommended installers.

  3. DIY - our deliverables allow you to do-it-yourself.

Why would I design first?

We work similar to how an architect works when you’re building a new construction home. We work with you to get your design exactly how you imagine it. Then, you can use our amazing deliverables to get bids from multiple installers. This allows you to get an apples to apples comparison on price - and get the best deal!

We are completely unbiased. Our design costs the same regardless of the scope of your project. Our goal is to ensure your design matches the great ideas in your dreams.

Why should I pay for a design?

The design is yours to keep. We give you all the details you need to bid it out to multiple contractors or use it to install yourself (DIY). We conduct a full consultation to ensure we get the design right. The design process IS our business, so we don’t rush it nor use a cookie cutter approach. Every design will be unique and custom designed based on your ideas and dream. We don’t rush the design process.

When do we start?

The process starts with a free consultation. We have appointments available this week.

What’s the timeline?

We conduct the consultation with 1 week of the initial contact. We will take pictures and measurements that same week. Then, you’ll see your design within 7-10 days.

What do we need to provide before you start?

We need the following three things:

  • Signed contract and payment - we’ll send you a contract the same day as our consultation meeting; 1/2 of payment is made at this time; the remaining balance is due upon receipt of final deliverables

  • Plat survey - you can scan and email it to us or give us a hard copy, and we’ll be sure to return it to you.

  • Ideas and pictures - share your dreams and ideas; Pinterest and Houzz are great places to start

What are the payment terms?

You will pay half up front at the time you sign and send in the contract. The remaining balance is due at receipt of final deliverables.

We take cash, checks, or credit cards. We also accept Pay Pal.

What if I want changes to your design?

We want you to love your design. That is best achieved with open communication and feedback. Tell us what you like and what you want us to change. We’ll make revisions until you are 100% satisfied.

It will prevent errors and re-dos before, during, and after installation.
